About

Gösta Knut Gustafsson, 16, is a photographer with a focus on nature.

He sees beauty and details in the small things. Bend down, take your time, and a new world will open up. But also in the vast landscapes, the deep forests, the stillness of the water, and its ripples. Nature is both ever-changing and constant, yet incredibly fragile.

Knut lives in Lima, Dalarna, and finds his subjects during dog walks along the Västerdal River, on the wind-swept mountain plains, in fragrant marshes, and along the old pasture trails deep in the forest. Knut has always been photographing. As a two-year-old, he walked around with his father’s large DSLR camera, capturing scenes from a toddler’s perspective. When the camera wasn’t available, Knut drew everything he saw.
